Scotland Travel

What this site does is provide you with comprehensive travel advice and tips to make the most of your visit to Scotland. Unlike the paper guidebooks, which are out of date as soon as they come off the press, Scotland Travel Guide or STG for short is provided at no cost to the traveller and weighs a lot less!

Scotland travel info

The STG travel blog allows us to keep you up to date with the latest and best information that we have. STG is also fully-searchable, so if visiting Edinburgh or Glasgow, simply type ‘Edinburgh’ into the search box and it will bring up all the relevant blog posts, etc, etc.

You can use STG on your iPhone / smartphone, iPad / tablet device, netbook, laptop or desktop. STG is very useful for quickly looking up travel information when you are in a Wi-Fi hotspot and is packed with useful external links to attractions and useful sites to help you plan your travels, find great cafes, bars, restaurants and hotels.STG also reviews selected hotels, restaurants, cafes and shops to highlight places we think are well worth a visit. In addition to this, STG publishes travel stories, mini-guides to climbing peaks in the Highlands and Islands and other articles related to Scottish history and culture – which will help you understand Scotland’s unique culture. You can also keep up to date with us via social networks like Facebook and Twitter. If you enjoy using Scotland Travel Guide ( STG ) – then please link to it from your blog or web site and feel free to post the link on Twitter or Facebook or any other social networks that you use.
Scotland Travel Guide is not just aimed at tourists either…The STG  online travel guide is also intended as a resource for people living in Scotland when they travel across this amazing country.
So put that old paper guidebook into the paper recycler, as STG is guidebooks 2.0 and check back to find out travel secrets on Scotland and maybe even your hometown and tell your friends…
